Products similar to Niafunke - Ali Farka Touré
Iron - Ensiferum
More energetic.
Still not enormously varied.
The Spectral Sorrows - Edge Of Sanity
Talented death metal with a nice melodic angle.
Concessions towards accessibility are mostly disappointing.
Dragonheads - Ensiferum
Nice side helping for folk metal fans.
Doesn't offer much original material.
A Sombre Dance - Estatic Fear
Perfectly composed and executed symphonic doom metal.
Twinkly keyboards are slightly irritating in Chapter VIII.
Below The Lights - Enslaved
Band still continues to evolve.
Cluttered and chaotic, loses the folk elements.
Unorthodox - Edge Of Sanity
Experimental death metal, foreshadowing major sub-genres.
Overlong.
Purgatory Afterglow - Edge Of Sanity
Approachable death metal.
Too many weak songs and failed attempts to combine genres.
Crimson Ii - Edge Of Sanity
If you liked the first one, you'll probably enjoy this too.
Re-treads old ground, and doesn't have its predecessor's charm or talent.
Infernal - Edge Of Sanity
A couple of enjoyable death metal songs, retaining some progressive elements.
Weak attempts to return to the old-school, and lazy performance.
A Pleasant Shade Of Grey - Fates Warning
Admirable ambition.
Boring, with very few interesting ideas.
