I came across Imagine Dragon's by mistake during a search of a song with a similar title to one of there's and pressed play and was hooked, This was the first album of there's I listened to and fell in love.
Its got a mix of different tempo song's not all one style like most bands tend to do now a days.
I fell in love immedately witht here song 'It's time' I still to this day have it as a ringtone on my phone.
I think all bands/groups bring out that one album that stand out to fans, etc and to me for Imagine Dragons this will be it,
This albums holds my favourite of there all time songs including Radioactive that has a tempo different to there other work, Its time, Demons, bleeding out and working man.
The songs and lyrics are amazing, and they basically show you Imagine Dragon whilst there at there best, sure they grown and mature and get better, but as Im sure for other fans this album really is as good as they had hoped it would, at least for the time being and in this day and age for a band.
It's an album your be glad you own, It will be one of those you'r stop your other half/family member etc from throwing away, even when cd's are outdated your sill want to hold on to this gem.
The acoustic version of the songs on this album are also a great listen, there a band that i find are really good acoustic, sometimes thats better than the released version.
One of the reasons this is such a great album is because of the great variety of songs. It's starts with one of their most well known tracks 'Radioactive' a real indie/pop gem, with an unforgettable chorus and fantastic beat behind it. It really sets the tone for the standard of the rest of the album.
One of the reasons I listen to music is because of the wealth of emotional experiences you can get from a song, and on this album there is plenty to chose from. If you are looking for a more upbeat song to get you into a happy mood, the tracks 'It's Time' and 'On Top Of The World' are absolutely brilliant, with great melodies and uptempo throughout it will definitely get you in a dancing mood. If you are looking for something a little more emotional, you can always listen to 'Demons' or 'Nothing Left To Say' - One of my favourites, and an epic build up to the end of the song.
Not only is the music great, by the composition of all the tracks is clearly a real high quality, with some amazing lyrics to boot. If you have listened to artists such as 'Neon Trees' or 'Of Monsters and Men' I think you will really find this album suited to you. In fact, anyone who is into any sort of music in the indie or pop genre I think would love this album.
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys good music.
In the latter stages of the year of 2012, an advert for a new video game was released. This advert used a track from Imagine Dragons 'Night Visions' album. Firstly, I am a fan of the gaming series it was used to advertise, Assassins Creed, but what actually drew me to the advert was the brilliant piece of music they used. This is what made me discover Imagine Dragons and this fantastic album full of different and yet complimentary tracks.
History: Imagine Dragons are an indie rock band from Las Vegas and were created in 2007. However, they didn't get signed to a label until 2011. They had released material before this but never an album. This was there début album and peaked at number 2 on the American Billboard 200 chart and number 2 in the UK album charts. 4 singles have been released from this 13 track album, charting highly around the world. The band have been on a world tour promoting Night Visions and continue to sell out where ever they play.

The first track I ever heard from Imagine Dragons, the track used for the ad, was Radioactive. This is the first track on this album and completely blows you away. I love to play it on a high volume and just drown in its tempo and beat. It's a cracking tune that will really get you going and ready for the day ahead. Originally I was just going to buy this one track on iTunes but after discovering Amazon selling the album for £6.97(as of MAY 2013), I opted to buy that instead. I had played the previews of each track via Amazon and nothing really hit me or took my liking like 'Radioactive' but I still wanted to try it out. I'm really glad I made that decision now, as after I uploaded it on iTunes, the songs had me hooked within the first play. There aren't samey tracks, they each have their own identity and their own deserved place in the track list to create such an array of musical genius on this one album.
Hailing from the same place as The Killers, Las Vegas, you do feel a little bit of their influence in certain tracks. But you do hear that they have created their own music and with lead singer, Dan Reynolds, smooth and yet intense vocals, these songs are masterfully written and sung. There are catchy choruses, brilliant tunes and just songs you feel yourself tapping along too. The anthem feel of 'Radioactive' and 'Nothing Left To Say', to the slower and yet no less more meaningful 'Demons', these songs will have you wrapped up in an experience. An experience which makes you realise that Imagine Dragons have an exciting future ahead of them. For the price I paid, this is a bargain. I have had it on repeat since buying it and just love every track on it. Listen for yourself and witness one of the best albums of 2012. You won't be disappointed, just the next one of there many fans.
