'Nightmare Before Krztoff' is an interesting and considerate release from Bile's Krztoff, which seems to be intended as supplementary to his band's primary canon of works. Rather than a mere collection of B-sides and off-cuts, these songs were mostly composed for the preceding 'Sex Reflex' album, but were deemed not to suit its more mainstream direction, and are thus inevitably all the more appealing to those like me, whose brains and aural taste-buds are wired incorrectly from those of the general public. Start and enda bit pop-y and over-produced? Some good old tunes... Some naff dated ones... More atmospheric and compelling than the previous album. Some bizarre commercial deviations that don't sit well, and generally overlong and tedious. A lot of great Maiden tracks, Some tracks not previously released live, Amazing crowd response Many tracks have been released on previous live albumsBruce's vocals are clearly sufferingNot the band at their best Competent industrial, with a little something for everybody (you know, within reason).
