Nights Out is Devon's electronic outfit Metronomy's 2nd album to date. The vocals are a bit too twee for my liking and some of the electronic sounds seem to be a bit too high pitch and irritating. The idea is a rough attept at a concept album about going out and having a bad time, topics such as meeting girls who don't like you and having a naff time at the disco are a-plenty. Some of the bass lines are pretty awesome and I quite like the way a bit of guitar is subtly thrown in but generally it's something that I would not go out of my way to buy or listen to.
