... recorded during their final recordings after their third album release, so it never made an album until almost ten years after it was recorder. The song itself is pretty good, I don't like the way it starts and at first it seems like its going to be a poor song however once it gets going the instruments are good. The lyrics are pretty good too but most of all its sung very well. Some other songs the album contains are their most well known songs such as about a girl, come as you are, lithium, in bloom, heart shaped box...more

Crowned Review Nirvana - Nirvana: A Kurt Invitation (1434 words)

Rating:

"So Alan, what's your favourite Beatles album? "Oh I would have to say........the best of The Beatles!" Another classic partridge moment but of course there's some truth there, compilations and best of albums are normally thrown into the christmas market after a few years when the band either movies record labels or decides to call it a day, sometimes they're the biggest success of an artists career. Of course we all have out opinions on what is the best album of a bands career but really their best work would be a compilation of their finest moments throughout the entire output. Premium Review Nirvana's NIRVANA: Cobain Knew He Was Right (3636 words)

"HOPE I DIE BEFORE I TURN INTO PETE TOWNSHEND..." ...Reads an entry jotted in one of the notebook journals left behind by Nirvana's astrally onward-traveling frontman, Kurt Cobain. Eight years after a point-blank blast from the business end of a Remington 22 gauge shotgun transformed that sentiment into prophecy, Cobain's other commerce-reincarnating, corporeal counterparts, Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Geffen/Universal Records, along with Courtney Love, have seen fit to reconcile their long-term differences and grace us with a "fiscally forward-looking" greatest-hits collection. Who says, ?money is ...  Read the complete review

Nirvana is a self titled compilation album of the American grunge bands greatest songs. It was released in 2002 and was the third album to be released after Kurts death, the album isn't just a total money spinner though, it does contain a total of one unreleased song but sadly all the other songs on here are just the usual classic nirvana songs so more than being a album for true nirvana fan its probably the most essential nirvana compilation album for people who like nirvana to some extent. The first song off the album is you know your right, it was a previously unreleased song by the band and was recorded during their final recordings after their third album ...  Read the complete review

Great new style of muisc Too much about Robbie!
