This has got to be one of the best albums I have heard in a long time. Things kick off with a sabbathy vibe and keep along basically the same vein. But (and i'm probably going to get lynched for saying this) Phil Anselmo is a better singer than Ozzy ever was. No, it's true, Ozzy could'nt sing. Pillars of Eternity, Eyes of the South and Bury Me In Smoke are all classics that you MUST have. Tired of drinking beer and listening to Pan-f***ing-tera? Well, drink some beer and listen to Down instead. You won't regret it. DOWN are a group made up of some of the best American heavy band members. Pantera’s Anselmo fronts them, displaying his full soft/growling/screaming style as he does with Pantera. COC’s Pepper Keenan plays guitar, and Crowbar members make up the others. The album, NOLA, (New Orleans, Los Angeles) came about from the group having spare time and jamming.
