Like Bashful Alley another band that failed to release an album but now have a compilation out courtesy of Castle Music is the wonderfully talented Aragorn. This band obviously came at just the wrong time and didn't stick it out together, their sound a little different from other bands of the era but one which would undoubtedly be welcome today to break the cycle of meaningless pop groups, mass produced hip hop and whingeing emo bands. Products similar to Noonday: The Aragorn Anthology...
Awake - Crematory
Strong modern gothic metal album.
Becomes repetitive and a little dull
A-town Secret Weapon - Baby D
Bangers throughout
Nothing specific
Back to the Known - Bad Religion
Glorious return to the older style that still moves forward, with a few early classics.
Only ten minutes long, and some songs are less fun.
Kaleidoscope - Siouxsie and the Banshees - Soundtrack
Great songs
A couple of weaker tracks
Ad Interitum Funebrarum - Argentum
Excellent atmospheric doom/black metal, with a Mexican spin.
Fades to background music if you're not paying attention.
Terrifying! Art of Dying - Balzac
Two albums for the price of one.
Neither is very good, and only seven songs are new.
Symbolic - Death
Superbly crafted death metal compositions, and a spectacular performance all-round.
Songs may be too long or intricate for casual listeners.
Metamorphogenesis - Esoteric
Haunting funeral doom metal that won't bore the patient listener.
Third song is too similar to the second.
Krush Groove - Soundtrack
Soundtrack - 1985
X Japan - Dahlia
Loud, fast metal songs, mixed in with slow epic ballads
"White Poem I" just isn't up to scratch and would have been better left out
