The Automatic are a four piece band hailing from Cardiff in Wales. Forming in 2002, the band have come a long way in the past five years and enjoyed a large degree of success in 2006 when they released their début album 'Not Accepted Anywhere'. It was hard to miss this young Cardiff based band last summer; everywhere you went their infectious 'Monster' single seemed to be playing, and therefore you were made to listen to The Automatic regardless of whether you liked them or not. I was listening to the album Not accepted anywhere by the band The Automatic yesterday and though I would review it a change after Christmas from my toy and mince pie reviews, First a little about the band The Automatic. These 4 lads Robin Hawkins, Alex Pennie, Iwan Griffiths James Frost met in a Cardiff primary school. They released their first single in November 2005. The Album Not accepted anywhere is their first Album it was released in June 2006. They are signed with B Unique The music The Automatic play is Indie Rock. I like listening to this style of music. Not Accepted Anywhere is the debut album from Welsh four-piece The Automatic. Prior to their album they released three singles, all included on the album: Recover, Raoul and Monster. These three singles lay great foundations out for the rest of the album which is one that may take awhile to get into but then becomes one to listen to over and over. If you have not yet seen The Automatic live then i definitely recommend it. They are possibly the best live band i have seen and they send the crowd wild.
