Apart from the Danzig debut album "Danzig", my favourite album by Danzig is undoubtedly this one - Samhain - November Coming Fire. It beats anything The Misfits did in my eyes. The recording is lousy and sounds like it was done in the bathroom of a cheap motel but apart from that it's very hard to fault. Samhain were considerably darker than either Danzig or Misfits and there are some true classics on this album that are often overlooked. In My Grip is a catchy and strong number that retains the punkiness of previous work and the catchiness of later work but darkens it a little to create an unforgettable little track.
