Please don’t moan about this, it doesn’t have a walking stick and it doesn’t have a pension but it is old. I have to tell you all about this because it’s maybe one of my favourite albums of all time. If you know me you’ll know that I’m a Happy Hardcore fan, I love Hardhouse mainly Lisa Lashes and Dance and Trance also play on my stereo at home. But this is one of those classic Dance albums and for some strange reason, it was apparently made by Virgin, wander if the release date was delayed!!! This is Now Dance 2001. It's hard to argue with compilations such as Now Dance, and indeed the Now series in general, you know what you're getting: a neat summary of what's been happening in the upper reaches of the charts over the last couple of months, and in this case the chart/club crossover becomes ever more blurred with 44 tracks of solid dance music. As always though it's a bit of a mixed bag (but you can't be too fussy with these sort of compilations!) Good tracks: -SONIQUE: I PUT A SPELL ON YOU Strangely good reworking of the old Nina Samone classic, not as good as 'It Feels So Good' but ample proof that the girl has talent. ...
