Newest Review: ... it isn't not shown, the album artwork features a blue background with the large 'Now Pig' shown in sunglasses and a yellow ... more  ... shirt taking up the majority of the cover space. On the pigs shirt is a list of the band names that appear on the album, and the whole picture is really 80's. If one album cover could sum up the whole decade, both in the style of illustration and with the colours used, this would be it.
So on to the songs... Now 5 had a very mixed bag with bands that have long since faded into the ether, and others that are still productive to this day;

The 'Now That's What I Call Music!' series of compilation albums have become incredibly popular over the years, with the first one appearing way back in 1983. The first one that I owned was 'Now 5' on Vinyl from 1985 - I didn't buy it myself, as I was only around four at that time, but my sister gave it to me (somewhen between '87 - '89) when it officially became the first record I owned. Now this review isn't going to spark a whole series of 'Now' reviews by me, as Now 5 was the only one of the series I have owned - and apart from that, I have never been a fan of 'chart-music' in general - compilation CD's are things I have managed to pretty much steer clear ...
