When I was about 11 or 12 and just discovering different types of music, the Now CDs were also on my birthday and Christmas lists. As a huge follower of the music charts and just a music geek in general, I loved the collection of all the biggest hits of the moment. The Now That's What I Call Music! series of course has been running since 1983 and the 73rd edition has just been released here in the UK. Of course the series has grown internationally with Now! Albums being released in Australia and America amongst other countries. There are 3 Now! Releases every year. These come in Spring, Summer and Winter and each have a selection of the biggest hits from the ... Read the complete review

I recieved this CD as a birthday present but had been wanting it since it was released on July 21st 2008. I am a lover of the Now series of disks and was hoping for a good one after what was a disapointing Now 69 CD for me. If you were to buy this CD for yourself you would pay up to £14-99 in highstreet stores and in the region of £11 on the internet. Firstly the tracks :- Disc: 1 1. Estelle feat. Kanye West American Boy 2. Dizzee Rascal feat. Calvin Harris & Chrome Dance Wiv Me 3. Mint Royale Singin' In The Rain 4. Sam Sparro Black & Gold 5. Duffy Warwick Avenue 6. Sara Bareilles Love ... The series of 'Now That's What I Call Music' albums are a brilliant idea. Started in the 1970s, they gather a selection of the top hits, usually no.1 hits, together in one album for commercial appeal, for those who love them to be able to gather them all in one double album format. Each album is recognised individually by its numbering, and usually commonly known by dropping the middle words, eg. Now 25, Now 36, etc. Now 70 was released last year, and features some incredibly good tracks. However, as is often the case, these are not always to everyone's taste, and thus some are less popular than others. The 2 disc album features some instantly recognisable ... Read the complete review

In the family, we own most of not all of the Now Thats What I Call Music compilation CD albums. There are many in the collection, and one of these is Now 70. Tracks: On the album there are forty three tracks: twenty two on the first disc and twenty one on the second. I think that it is quite a lot of songs to have on one album, and it gives us such a great variety to listen to - there is bound to be something for everyone, for sure! 'Fast tracks': Some of the tracks are upbeat and have an incredible tempo. Among them there are songs such as Can't Speak french by Girls Aloud, That's Not My Name by the Ting Tings, and Jumping All Over The ... Read the complete review

Can't believe that a coupleof years ago i had a copy of Now thats what i call music volume 40, this is edition 70 - unbelieable. The tracklistig of this is phenomenal and it's planned just exavlty to match everyone's taste and cater for everyone's music needs. 70 editions of this and this is honestly one of the best I like these complimations becuase i am the sort of person who gets an album and only really listens to one song. I dont really buy these often and i do sometimes disagree with the tracklistings and in rebelling i end up making my own complimation and 10 times out 10 it works out better for me. I would say i like 80% of the songs on here, and don't care about ... Read the complete review

The Godfather III - Soundtrack
Good arrangements of old themes in digital sound
Boring, nothing much new, and what is new is largely forgettable

Pleasant poppy sound, suitably gloomy lyrics
Can be a bit gentle for my tastes

Some very emotional ballads and a couple of rockier ones.
Maybe a little bit the same - little variation
