Advantages: Almost all songs worth a listen

Disadvantages: Songs outdated and a bit cheesy

Now 44 was released in late 1999 and contains many of biggest hits from this year. Released a whole decade ago, this album was available on CD or tape cassette, something that seems ancient in our modern world. Now Thats What I Call Music have always been able to provide the most hits on one album since the first was released in 1983 because of a deal between the four major record labels.

Now 44 really takes you back to 1999 with songs such as Baby One More Time by Britney Spears, it really reminds me of what I was doing 10 years ago. Unlike some of the more recent Now albums, which I find only have a few really good songs, almost every song on this album is a hit. Of the 42 tracks on the album, there are only about 7 that I can say I probably wouldnt want to listen to. Sure, alot of the tracks are a bit cheesy by todays standards, such as Tragedy by Steps, or S Club Party by S Club 7, but in 1999 they were genuine hits!

Summary: Not bad

I agree at least you seemed to know the tracks then and genuinely like them no matter how cheesy they were. xx
