Hits Vol. 60
by pmcds - written on 03/03/09 (Very useful, 45 readings)
Rating:
reality TV side of things while there were re-releases from Peter Andre and Gary Jules (Mysterious Girl and Mad World respectively). The third disc gets a bit RnB with Artists such as Eamon and Frankee airing their tiffs to the public (and making some money out of it, no doubt). Blazin s Squad, The Streets and Usher hit us with some awesome tracks, and I was particularly fond of Beyonce s Naughty Girl. However, not a fan of the Delta Goodrem track Not Me, Not I, nor some of the tracks in the middle of the disc, such as Ride Wit U No Rap from Joe and Blowin Me Up from JC Chasez. Overall, the discs are well laid out, with the more poppy chart music on the first disc, the ...

100 Hits - Kids
by Sparktrader - written on 13/02/09 (Very useful, 139 readings)
Rating:
We purchased this because we wanted some music for my 3 year old to have at her party. Looking at other kids CDs on the market, this one seemed amazing value for money with 100 tracks on it and only costing £8.98 on Amazon. On closer inspection, 80 are music tracks and 20 are videos. It has a superb collection of kids TV theme tunes as well as other songs that kids and adults alike will recognise. We were certainly surprised by how many my daughter already knew the words to. The TV shows represented are a good mix from CBBC, NickJr, Milkshake. There is also a good mix of songs from both boy and girl related programmes. There are 4 CDs and 1 DVD in the box set. ...

Essential Club Anthems: Fifteen Years Of Dance Classics
by plipplop - written on 19/05/09 (Very useful, 79 readings)
Rating:
For anyone who has more than a passing interest in house music, Positiva is a record label to be reckoned with. Launched in1993, the label, famous for its simple black and white cross design, was intended to provide dedicated commercial support to the biggest dance floor hits. The aim was simple and shameless; that club music should be propelled into the mainstream and sell lots of copies. In this aim, Positiva is arguably one of the most successful dance imprints of all time, giving the Ministry of Sound a run for its money in terms of turnover and handing the record-buying public some of the biggest anthems of the last sixteen years. In 2008, to celebrate fifteen years of greatness, the ...
