 ... lack feeling and whilst the work is definitely varied, few tracks remain memorable even though at the time - they seem quite good. I do like death metal but it is the technical albums like this that are putting me off the genre a bit - there is plenty of quality but very little "join in" effect. My first thoughts when listening to this band were - Death metal? Australia? What's going on - shouldn't they be on the beach. Musically or maybe rather technically the music is spot on, faultless death metal with an amazing amount of brutality and aggression to it but that is also the album's downfall. It seems to lack any human side to it at all, the music is so technical that it seems to lack feeling and whilst the work is definitely varied, few tracks remain memorable even though at the time - they seem quite good.
