Everything Everything - Underworld
by Tyler Durden - written on 14/10/00 (Useful, 81 readings)
Rating:
If you own a DVD player - Buy this DVD If you have heard of Underworld - Buy this DVD This is simply the most stunning DVD that I own. This is 90 mins of Underworld at their best - Live. The main tracks are :- Juanita/Kiteless, Cups, Push Upstairs, Pearls Girl, Jumbo, Shudder/King Of Snake, Born Slippy Nuxx, Rez/Cowgirl & Moaner. You can view the 90 min concert footage in two different ways :- as the music with weird trippy visuals, or the live concert itself with even more weird trippy visuals ( for Gods sake don't watch this if you're epiletic !!!) This DVD really does capture the pure energy, power & madness that is a concert of this type. Its almost ...

Everything Everything - Underworld
by Bertie - written on 05/09/00 (Useful, 12 readings)
Rating:
This however is Underworld the live experience, something that they are not normally associated with. It is more than just knob-tweeking in front of a live audience. This album which is as near as you will get to a greatest hits album charts the band's progression over there three album history and gives an insight into the ...

Beaucoup Fish - Underworld

Rating:
devised by man. Come to think of it, so is "Second Toughest in the Infants". "Beacoup Fish" isn't such a great album title. Anyways... Underworld have definitely progressed between albums two and three. As with "Second Toughest...", you can hear just how much more refined their production techniques have become, exactly which sounds will be ripped off by every Tom, Dick & DJ Larry. There are a few moments on this album where they seem to lose a little of the claustrophobic urban sound that characterized earlier releases. 'Jumbo', for one, is a sweet tune, almost pastoral. 'King of Snake' opens with guitars ...
