Australian industrial death metal band the Amenta were hailed as the best newcomers of 2004 by 'Kerrang!' magazine in a rare display of good taste, though this highly processed, detached, almost mechanised approach to heaviness has always deterred me in bands that tend to attract the "industrial" adjective.
