Odinist - Blut Aus Nord

Whether due to pressure from metal fans or merely a natural admission that their last album had been fairly awful, Blut aus Nord make a conscious return to their black metal style with 'Odinist,' though not one that's going to satisfy those who loved the earlier releases. Staying true to the band's capacity for reinvention, this sounds unlike any of their other Blut aus Nord releases, coming closest to 2003's 'The Work Which Transforms God' in its industrial-slanted black metal but taking a much slower and less aggressive approach this time round.
