'Love Again' is given a Rob Mayth makeover. Natalie's vocals stay in the song and Mayth delivers a Basshunter esque riff and some pleasing jangly piano bits, again the song seems to be going through the motions as the riff goes up and down the scale and fails to excite.
Disc two has a better selection, there is a stripped down version of 'Everytime We Touch' which allows Natalie's vocals to shine without any pounding synths getting in the way. It is a touching remake and works well in the ...more |

Cascada are a bit like Marmite. It's a love or hate affair. I like them and please note I say them and not her, for Cascada is not the name of the woman, they are technically a dance act fronted by a female vocalist. Having achieved big success across Europe, it was inevitable a remix album would follow suit. Here it is, with many joyous reworkings of their hits. Highlights: Dan Winter tackles the unreleased 'One More Night' which was off the first Cascada album. His style is pretty eurodance standard, employing a somewhat laborious sounding dutch synth riff over the pounding kick drums. It does the job but the riff is basic and less interesting ...
