Old Crows / Young Cardinals - Alexisonfire

Well I have to truely be there biggest fan and this album does them so much justice. The alternative sound is truely amazing at the minute and they are the pioners. If you listened to the previous album crisis and you thought that would be hard to top then you have to listen to this album. Old Crows/Young Cardinals is in my opinon the best album to date with catchy meaningful lyrics, enjoyable riffs and an overall energetic sound. The latest album from Alexisonfire appears to have received very mixed opinions from fans. Some love it, some hate it, but it all comes down to the idea of a band progressing. This has happened to many bands in the past; their old fans can't take on board the idea of their favourite band coming back with a new sound, while people that didn't previously enjoy the band now do. First track on the album 'Old Crows' is quick to address the issue at hand.
