I bought this album after hearing If You Had My Love and being very impressed by it. A fabulous pop song with a latino feel.

If You Had My Love is on this album (thankfully) and it's a fabulous pop song with a great background beat. It's a great dance track and it was something new and fresh at the time. It was released in 1999 and I remember buying the CD single from Asda when I was 14! Jennifer's vocals on the song aren't as strong as I would have liked but she does sing it well considering that it's quite fast and punchy. I also love Waiting For Tonight which is similar to IYHML but it's a little bit faster, especially the bridge in the middle. Both of these songs are great pop songs that really cheer you up and make you wanna get up and dance. I love the upbeat songs on the album, they're the best songs on the album. Sadly the rest of the album isn't up to scratch.

The album has a latino feel to it which I like. You can hear (in the background) a latino beat and I like the fact that Jennifer has stuck to her roots on the album. The album is a bit of a mixed bag. The upbeat pop songs are great but the ballads are weak and Jennifer doesn't have the most powerful female voice in the pop world. She can't reach the higher notes and I much prefer the sound of Mariah as she can actually SING. Saying that, it's not a bad effort and some songs are worth a listen.
