... improvement over the few albums before this, mostly because it is slightly heavier and there are more focuses on Olga's riffs. The excellent cover of I'm Gonna Be (500 miles) is a highlight of the album, the punky version of this album certainly gives it an even more energetic sound! The title track One More Megabyte is another great track and although the topic sounds a little aged now, it would have been rather relevant at the time of the release of the album - 1999, when computers weren't particularly racey. The Toy Dolls are an enthusiastic and cheerful punk band from Sunderland, who have over the years had reasonable success with some of their numbers despite the majority of them being cheesy. A noticeable difference perhaps is that you can see the band member's bare-eyed on the cover of this album - breaking their 20 year long tradition of wearing large cartoon glasses which make them look more at home in The Jetsons! Whilst the album isn't as good as their work in the early 80's, it is a definite improvement over the few albums before this, mostly because it is slightly heavier and there are more focuses on Olga's riffs.
