Advantages: Great songs, catchy tracks, beautiful vocals and melodies
Disadvantages: None
One Touch from The Sugababes is my favourite album from all of the albums they have released. This was their first album and has the original line-up of babes which in my opinion, was the way it should have stayed.
Siobhan Donaghy leaving the band was awful in my opinion and she had such a beautiful voice, i thought it was a real shame when she left.
The first song in the album is Overload. This was the babes first single and the way that catapulted them into the limelight and into becoming the stars they are today. Its an amazing catchy tune with a great chorus. Next is One Foot In which is equally as good as Overload and addictive once you start listening to it.
Same Old Story is a great song if you love Garage music but it wouldnt be one of my favourite on the album. Just Let it Go, Look at Me and Soul Sound are all beautiful melodic songs about growing up and that awkward stage between teen life and adulthood. One touch is also a great song and there are some gorgeous melodies in it, the chorus is my favourite as its so catchy.
Lush Life is a real groovy song that is really easy to sing along to and Real Thing is a great uptempo tune that i love dancing to when im doing the dishes! New Year was their great christmas single that makes me feel all warm and cosy anytime i hear out.
Promises is my favourite song on the album. What else can i say than its amazing! Great breathy vocals and a really unusual song. Run For Cover is also a cracker of a song to listen to and really upbeat.
Sometimes i find it hard to believe that the Sugababes wrote this album when they were only 15! Its incredible as its one of the best albums ive ever heard and i would nearly buy another copy as a back up. This album is an absolute must have.
Summary: Buy it
