ONE TOUCH is the title of British pop group the SUGABABES.
The album features 12 tracks which I will review.

The opening song OVERLOAD is a soothing tune with beautiful vocals and a catchy chorus that is full of energy and contains wonderful melodies.

ONE FOOT IN is a fast paced track sung with alot of vigour and lyrics that sit perfectly alongside the funky rhythm.

SAME OLD STORY is a mellow track which relies on the harmonies of the vocals to guide the melodies along.

JUST LET IT GO is sung with heartfelt emotion which the lyrics provide due to their genuine passion that is evident in the chorus which is blasted out.

LOOK AT ME is an energetic number with a good dance vibe to it which will have you on the dance floor.

My favourite song on the album is SOUL SOUND. The uplifting beat is accompanied by fast pace feel which creates a feel good factor with the soulful vocals adding an extra edge to procedings.

ONE TOUCH starts of slowly and developes vocally towards the chorus weven if the lyrics are slightly lacklustre.

LUSH LIFE i wasn't so keen on as the lyrics are corny while there is no tempo to the melodies with the vocals being weak.

REAL THING has a corking intro which brings a positive vibe especially when the instruments enter and add new life to the song all the way to the finale.

NEW YEAR is a positive track which embodies the feeling we feel at a new year and new start in the lyrics.

PROMISES has a fantastic chorus which is aided by the vocals that are on good form though bettered by the instrumental work especially at the finale.

The last song on the album is RUN FOR COVE which is a mellow track with beauiful vocals, touching lyrics and some sublime melodies that accompany the bouncy rhythm superbly.

Overall, this is a feel good album. The vocals are really pleasant and suit both fast and slow styles of music. The lyrics mostly veer away from cheesiness. The melodies and rhythms are pretty funky. There are no classics, though nothing terrible.
