'If I Can't Have You' is given a makeover, not horrendous, but the soulful vocal of the original is sacrificed at the expense of a cheesy eurobeat and there is't much sentiment left here. Head to the interesting 'The Crying Game.' which was originally a hit for Boy George. I was surprised this one was covered and actually quite pleased as I felt it needed a dancey revamp, not badly done but lacks the tender vocal of the original.

There is something about this album which makes me think it is going to be very cheap! Maybe it the cover artwork, with that man about to lunge down on that poor blonde. The Almighty series have come up trumps here with a 35 track album of hi nrg dance grooves, cover versions galore! Some of your all time favourite songs will be slaughtered here. We begin with a dubious take on 'The Never Ending Story.' It was always quite camp to begin with and this new version gives it a dancefloor edge, while taking away any nostalgia the original had.
