Advantages: Great Music need I say more?

Disadvantages: Nothing at all!

Muse hit the rock scene in 99 with their first album "Showbiz". Their new album "Origin of Symmetry" is fresh and energetic and full of great tracks such as New Born, Plug in Baby, Bliss, Space Dementia and the haunting Microcuts.
Muse push the boundaries of modern Rock music with screechy guitar riffs, blistering guitar solos and startling voice effects by front-man Matthew Bellamy, backed up by the truly angelic drumming of Dominic Howard and hard bass guitar from Chris Wolstenholme.
In my opinion Muse are the best thing to hit the music scene since Radiohead and is a must have record for any Radiohead fan or Muse fan or indeed anyone who is interested in rock music.
Excellent!

Pushing the boundaries? OK, but in which direction?

Metal? Muse? Definitely not. Alternative yes, indie rock yes, metal, not nearly. I often feel they're like a Radiohead tribute band, but they really are very good anyway, the heights Matt Bellamy can hit with that voice is amazing, and the boy KNOWS how to play guitar. But this review is really far too short and not detailed enough. Try reading other music reviews to see what your missing. Adding a tracklist with info on each track will help, and general info on the best/worst tracks, what the separate instruments are like on each track, what the track sounds like on a whole. I find theres tonnes to write about when it comes to Bellamy's vocals and guitar technique. Do let me know if you update this and I will rerate.
