Out of the Cellar is Ratt's 1984 album and their first real album despite the fact they had first got together back in 76. This is possibly the best album ever to come out of San Diego! Ratt's glam metal style is fun and not to serious, they write songs for boys about fun subjects and have an anthem sound to the choruses which often contain instant lyrical winners like "She Wants Money" or "I'm Insane". The different individual styles of both guitarists ensure that your ears will ring with a maze of solos that weren't highly rated at the time but are now considered to be the essential ingredient to this classic 80s metal album. ...
