SUPER SPACED!!! (Out Spaced: Selected B-sides & Rarities 1994-1998 - Super Furry Animals)
Member Name: ceri morgan
Advantages: Great mix of the many various S.F.A sounds, and a few rare to find tracks. Disadvantages: Only for Super Furries fans.
"Out Spaced" is the first and so far only Super Furry Animals B-Side and rareity album, and it is certainly well worth owning if you are a fan. It begins with the legendery Furries track "The man dont give a f--k", and this is a track that is now very rare as in single form it was only on release for a total of 5 days! For those who enjoy the poppy side of the Super Furries there are some great tracks on offer such as "Smokin'" and "Dont be a fool billy", but there are also more introspective tracks to be heard on this compilation such as the dreamy "Arnofio" and "Pam v". The Super Furries have always been a group who like to experiment with different sounds and it is proved on this album, as we are treated to some of their wonderfull early tracks taken from thier first two E.P's released in 1994 on the 'Ankst' label. The rip roaring fuzzy punk frenzy of "Focus Pocus" is a great taster of their early work, and I am sure that after hearing the epic "Blerwytirhwng" (translated - Where your between) you will be rushing out to purchase thier early E.P's. Overall "Out Spaced" is an important purchace for any Super Furry animals fan, go get it and God will show you magic! Summary: |
