The Quiet Storm: The Best In Electric And Acoustic Rock Ball ...

Premium Review A Quiet Storm - one of the better compilation albums (873 words)
by jeffjen - written on 23/04/09 (Very useful, 148 readings)

I bought this cd quite a while back now, and hadn't listened to it for quite a while until recently, when I re-discovered it sitting amongst my cd collection. Bigger, Better Power Ballads Ii

Premium Review Power Ballads....................again! (513 words)

'We could probably mix this up until the cows come home,' is what the compilers behind this probably thought. Over the years, we have seen countless numbers of compilations emerge onto the music scene, not least the high quality releases of Power Ballads albums. However, I fail to notice significant difference between one album and the next. The songs are, naturally, of a similar genre, that of the power ballad (although sometimes this is even doubtful from one album to the next), and I find that I need to put all else out of my mind in order to give this a true review. This is a 2-disc affair, and although I have just said that I tried to put out of mind the fact that there are ...
