Overtones - Just Jack

Just Jack busrt onto the UK music scene a couple of years ago with the huge radio and chart hit 'Starz In Their Eyes.' Since then, he has failed to achieve much success, having had a handful of lesser hits. The best way to describe his music is intelligent pop music, think The Streets meeting Jools Holland meeting 70's disco chic and you're getting close. The album opens with 'Writers Block' which fails from the start as it has no distinctive tune. Jack speaks the vocals with little enthusiasm and even the wispy summery melody can do little to invigorate the track.
