Around half the tracks are not Hip Hop, but focus more heavily on the 'bollywood' sound. I don't mean to use the term 'bollywood' offensively, as I know this is NOT bollywood music, but to the average review reader, this is the best way of getting across the vibe of the music. The tracks all use traditional Indian instruments, and at its best these work really well and integrate nicely into Hip Hop.

As a lover of hip hop and 'something a bit different', I was drawn to Panjabi MC's album. You can call me sheltered if you like, but it's unlike anything I've ever come across in my life! Almost completely recorded in Panjabi, the album is a mix of Hip Hop and traditional Indian music. The result is a diverse album of 14 tracks, some of which I absolutely love. Some are recorded in English, like 'Sounds of the Dez', but the majority is recorded in Panjabi. Around half the tracks are not Hip Hop, but focus more heavily on the 'bollywood' sound.
