Advantages: its heavyness, its a classic album, the vocals

Disadvantages: erm....there aren't going to be anymore albums by them

I am a big fan of Skunk Anansie and this is my favourite album of their's. This is their first album of three....and all three are amazing....but this is my favourite because it is the heaviest of all of them and the most political too....with songs such as "Intellectualise my blackness" and "Selling jesus" this album is almost used as a soap box for the lead singer Skin to air her views....and how beautifully she airs them.

The heaviness of songs such as "I can dream" are combined with Skin's AMAZING voice giving Skunk Anansie's unique sound. This album has less heavy songs on too such as "100 ways to be a good girl" and the famous "Weak" whcih popularised Skunk Anansie..... but their second album Stoosh is their most popular album by far....and I do love that album....but Paranoid and Sunburnt still remains my favourite album by Skunk Anansie because of the edgyness and heavyness of the album....so basically if you like Skunk Anansie but haven't heard this then you'll definately love this album.....and if you haven't heard Skunk Anansie before then I'd definately reccommend this, and all their other albums to you too.....its a classic album.
