It really is the best of Morcheeba (Parts Of The Process - Morcheeba)

Advantages: Very tight collection Disadvantages: None Since I don't think Morcheeba have ever recorded a bad song, I think coming up with the lineup for their best of album must have been some pretty tough work. I have been a big fan of their work ever since I heard their first album "Who can You trust" and have hung on their every word (well track) ever since. All the classics are here - "Sea", "Tape Loop", "Part of the Process" etc, and, something that is rare for a best of album, hearing them all together seems to work. One of the tough things about putting tracks onto other albums away from their source is that the context can sometimes be lost. But that doesn't happen in this album. A lot of thought has gone into the placement of the tracks, etc. Or maybe it was just mean looking too deeply into things. Whatever the case, I thought this was a great listen and I didn't even care when I bought it that I had all the tracks already on other CD's. Summary: Possibly the best best of ever |
