This album contains all the future sounds of the year 2001. Most of the tunes have been released but it's not the future tunes it's the future sounds. The album is mixed by Tall Paul. The mixing is ok...nothing special. The 1st cd of 2 is a bit too funky for me but towards the end od the disc it improves with my favourite tune of the moment 'Joshua Ryan- Pistolwhip (Way Out West Remix)' which flows perfectly into 'Schiller- Das Glockenspiel'The second disc is all fantastic with some current smashes like Darude, Storm, Public Domain and Warp Brothers vs Aquagen. The sound is quite dark and not cheesy in anyway. The darkness comes from Corvin Daleks mix of Darren ...

This is what it is all about. Making sure that everyone has access to what is going to happen throughout the rest of 2001 and to tickle their tastebuds, guaranteeing that people want to stick around to see what goes off. Having said that, Tall Paul does not deliver as well as the Judge did last time with the Guide to 2000, but he doesn't do a bad job of it though. My one problem with the CD as a whole was that I think he tended to play too many tracks that people had already heard.
