Phobia - Breaking Benjamin

Breaking Benjamin: Phobia I was recommended this CD by a friend who is into all this G-Unit stuff so I wasn't so sure I would like this, But they lent me the CD anyway after I reluctantly agreed on giving them a try. I was shocked to begin with because this really isn't my friends type of music he is always saying bad stuff about the rock genre and I was impressed by the band. This is a wonderful CD to listen to personally I enjoyed it. Intro: Nice little instrumental to open the album with. I used to be a devout metalhead and generally refused to listen to much else. This album changed all that, and has ultimately made me far less elitist and far more open-minded when it comes to music. Breaking Benjamin play a form of Alternative Rock that is often rather melancholic however couldn't really be classed as "emo." A more appropriate tag to class it as would be "insanely catchy." Breaking Benjamin - Phobia - 2006 I am not a great fan of metal or grunge and this band kind of straddles both genres, although my son, who wanted this album, tells me they are 'alternative metal'. **THE BAND** Breaking Benjamin are a metal band from Pennsylvania. I was only introduced to them early last year but I'm glad I gave them a listen because they are brilliant. Their style may not be completely original but they do have a great sound, often producing heavy anthems packed with raw emotion. The band have been around since 1998, I wish I'd heard of them before last year! The current members of Breaking Benjamin are: Benjamin Burnley, Aaron Fink, Mark James Klepaski, and Chad Szeliga.
