Dismember are one of the classic Swedish death metal bands, and my personal favourite. This early E.P. collecting 'Pieces' from uncertain origins is a fine example of the changeover from early, thrash-influenced death metal as practiced by Celtic Frost and Morbid Angel in the eighties to the harsher and more independent entity of the nineties.
