**Introduction** Eric Clapton is widely regarded as one of the best guitarists of all time with decades of musical success. Over the years he has played with some of the biggest musicians around and recorded hundreds of songs in several different styles. Although he has always had the guitar talent his vocals have improved and ever since the late eighties he has had a fine voice in my opinion. Pilgrim marks a new direction in Eric Clapton's music with a more modern feel but still keeping that sensational guitar talent that we have come to expect from him over all styles.
