In recent years Nicki Minaj has become more and more popular and hit the main stream when she was with young money and cash money billionaires and once she started hitting chart topping songs as a collaboration she started making solo songs that were doing well in the public eye. Obviously that was the decision to make a proper album rather than more mixtapes.


Pink Friday was released near the end of November 2010 and was a well anticipated release by then although not necessarily sure of what to be expected i think most of those who awaited it were pleased with the production of it.

Above is the track listing of the album which as you can see features quite a lot of the popular names from the rap & hip hop genres giving implication of what to expect from it. The album features a whole range of songs from Nicki from aggressive rapping about people she hates and her haters to singing about being a princess and her "moment 4 life" i think this album gives a good variation of her style and shows her true potential.

I would definitely recommend this album to any rap fans as she is definitely worth a listen although some may not find she is to their liking. Die hard Nicki fans will find that this album is a must because for me whom personally am not a huge Nicki fan has quite a tendency to listen to this track with some of the songs in the 30's on iTunes play count.
