The composer, Klaus Bedalt has managed to branch out to younger generations from this type of music and is probably to become some of the most historic film music for years to come. The music is great in the sense that it can be perceived in many different ways by its listeners and is not limited to one mood, it can be from motivational to pure emotional. Despite the fact that the music from the films is good overa...more

Since I am a typical younger member, I had not been attracted by the prospect of classical music in any way shape or form. This stunning music changed that. Although not as good as other the first soundtrack etc, this one still carries on the amazing background music that Pirates of the Carribean has benefited in terms of success from, as I believe that without this music the films would not have been as popular. What Is It? Pirates of the Caribbean- At World's End is the soundtrack to accompany the third hit Pirates of the Caribbean Movie series. This was released along side the movie release in May 2008. Why Buy It? I bought my CD because I am personally a big fan of soundtrack from movies and I am the biggest Pirates of the Caribbean fan. Lovers of classical, powerful and of course soundtrack music will also be attracted to this. I also actually bought it because I collect memorabilia as well so it made sense to buy the CD. If you really enjoyed the film then you will really enjoy the soundtrack to go a long with it. Hans Zimmer The ...  Read the complete review

Anybody who has read my reviews in the past will probably be well aware of my distinct dislike towards the music of Pirates of the Caribbean thus far. Despite their overwhelming popularity, I have never seen anything really interesting about them, with many of the best ideas coming from previous Hans Zimmer scores (and usually executed with considerably less idea behind them). The first score was in essence one of the most disappointing I’ve encountered, being on the whole really nothing more than a Zimmer sampler of ideas jotted down since the early 1990s and when combined with the cost effective synth execution, resulted in a score that sounded like a demo tape slapped ...  Read the complete review

Beautiful lyrics, amazing voices, extremely creative instrumentals None.

Some great, memorable songs from the 1970's A lot of rubbish along the way

A great soundtrack to a classick Jim henson film perhaps won't have the same impact on listiners if you have never seen the film

r. review r. review

Imaginative, well-constructed fun adventure music with a pseudo-futuristic patina A little disjointed perhaps and the make-weight score is unremarkable

Interesting piece, beautifull, well written Bad choice of soloists for this piece
