This lot can be quite annoying, but if you take them in small doses, then a smattering of Vengaboys can go down a treat at a party. This was their second album and is awash with pop dance. Who are they: Four piece group, fronted by 'vocalists Kim and Denice. They were at their peak in the late nineties. On this ... Read the complete review

The Vengaboys have pulled off a tricky feat by releasing an album that is overall better than their last one, yet less memorable. Essentially, the Party album had a trilogy of redundant yet nonetheless fantastic songs in Up and Down, We Like To Party and Boom Boom Boom Boom that dominated the dance floors around the world, some weaker ... Well i think overall The Platinum album by the Vengaboys is OK. I must admit it's not my favourite album but doesn't have to be i haven't wasted any money. One of my kids borrowed it from a friend. I must say from a youngsters point of view it's quite good however not as appealing for us adults. The Vengaboys since they started ... Read the complete review

I think the Platinum Album dishes out adult-themes in ahem, meaningful and educational ways. Try to listen attentively or simply read the lyrics from the CD booklet. Join Combat Gal Kim, Sailor Boy Yorick, Cowboy Roy and Glitter Gal Denice as they sing about life's agonies; themes that would strike a chord among the working class. With The ... The one thing that makes the album not so good is the crap at the end . The information you get at the end you need a computer to find out what it is. You only pay for the music not the information ,which tells you what web site you can go to and etc. The music at the end sounds more like club music, not like the begining of the ... The Vengaboys must be the most awful and primitive band ever … they cannot dance, they cannot sing, their lyrics are crap … every song sounds the same and still, they always manage to make it to the top on the charts. Why? Some clever producer realised that their concept works and has developed it. The worst thing is – ... Read the complete review

when God gave people the talent to make music he must have been in the land of nod when the Venga boys where passing through the system. People often refer to rock music as the devils music, but i can truly say if the devil was Evil like really Evil he would have employed the Venga Boys long before ACDC. Why are they so crap, well many ... Read the complete review

If you liked the Vengaboys' first album, then chances are you'll love this next installment of euro-pop. This album is virtually a clone of the first album, except the music is less dancey and more traditional pop, with the girls showing off their vocal talents which is no bad thing, if you ask me. With the exception of the 2 poor ... Read the complete review

More of the same from the top of the euro pop pile. Saying that, it is a good summer album to have blasting out. It's got the top 10 singles Shalala Lala and Kiss (when the sun don't shine) on it and a terrible track Cheekah Bow Bow (that computer song) which really grates! Not very good value though, with only 10 ... Read the complete review
