Advantages: the full length version is a good record, erm... bongos?, and its... played... live. Possibly.

Disadvantages: horrific Nick Sentience mix, utterly unforgettable DJ Tandu mix, no Airscape remix

Played A Live is a nice pop-ish trancer by Danish producers Safri Duo that did well in the UK chart in early 2001. It has to be said though, that the radio edit does not do this tune justice, so either buy the UK 12" or an import single with a full length version on it.

However, the main beef I have with this is, the appaling remixes. So sad that this was unsurprising given AM:PM's track record.

My opinion is that Nick Sentience should stay remixing mindless hard house for Nukleuz and DJ Tandu should crawl back to whatever rock he's been hiding under since 1999's Ayla.

On versions of this released all over Europe was an excellent (by all accounts: I haven't heard it) Airscape remix. Why wasn't this included for the UK? Ha ha ha! Because we love Nick Sentience so! Of course!
