in 1992 springsteen released two albums on the same day human touch and lucky town . these two albums were his quest for trying new things and working with new musicians at the time the e street band had gone their seperate ways and bruce had a new collection of songs and a new band in order to represent them.

At the time mtc unplugged was pretty popular and springsteen decided to premier he's new band and songs in that fashion,
But being bruce he decicided to be the first person to do unplugged PLUGGED i.e electric full band.
As mtc said bruce boss id he wants to do it plugged you dont argue !

This cd is from that live mtv show, also there is the dvd of almost the full concert.
it had been 4 years since the tunnel of love tour with the e street band so all eyes were on bruce and how he sounded.
He came back with mixed reviews of thoes two albums he released and for the first time was under attack.

This plugged liev album put any doubters to rest, he sounded great the band sounded tight and the songs really came to life and sounded far greater than the album version.

If only the lucky town album sounded as good as the songs do on this album, just live bruce takes them to a new level/

This cd begins with a then new unreleased song a fun and dirty countrified song red headed woman ( the only unplugged track on here )
next comes better days a brilliant song.
atlantic city is done in full rock mode which the band really nail and a big trasformation from the original acoustic original it wrote from the nebraska album
Darkness on the edge of town is sung with gospel feel on the breaks
Mans jon from human touch is fun
Human touch is good
Lucky town really rocks with a great guitar solo far a thousand times better then the album track
I wish i were blind from human touch is sung beautifully and is again better than the album version
Thunder road the all time classic from born to run is sung with just acoustic and keyboards and is just a lovely version
Light of day is the previously unreleased and live energy rocker that just blows everything away with its duel guitar solos and mid fun of everybody take of all your clothes
If i should fall behind is truely a beautiful song played and sung lovely and again 10 times better than the album version
Living proof also from lucky town rocks
The album ends with my beautiful reward from the lucky town album which is transformed like if is hould fall behind into a beautiful song live

Overall a great album worth the money just for light of day and if i should fall behind
