      Very helpful

I first discovered Weird Al quite some time ago when my sister played me some of his songs. This was back in 2003, when I wasn't really interested comedy singers and definitely wasn't looking into buying any kind of album from him.

A few years on and now I am doing a review on an album that had those same songs that my sister showed all those years ago, and I cant get enough of it! Weird al is another comedy singer, who sings about all sorts of stuff, including paradies of well known songs, from eminiem and the backstreet boys.

      Here is a track listing:

      1. Couch potato (parody of lose yourself by eminem)
      2. Hardware store
      3. Trash day (parody of hot in herre by Nelly)
      4. Party at the leper colony
      5. Angry white boy polka
      6. Wanna B Ur Lovr
      7. A complicate song (parody of complicated by Avril Lavigne)
      8. Why does this always happen to me?
      9. Ode to a superhero (parody of piano man by BillyJoel)
      10. Bob
      11. Ebay (parody of I want it that way by the backstreet boys)
      12. Genius in france

My favourite track on this album is angry white boy polka. I like it because although it isn't exactly a parody song, he does different arrangements of various pop songs, which he plays on the accordian. Which I think is quite clever, how he manages to link all of the different songs together really smoothly.

The worst track on the album in my opinion would be Bob, as it doesn't really make me laugh, which is not all he does, but it also is a bit repetitive, and after a while it gets a little boring. The songs itself is done in a kind of country and western style, which some people may like, but it wasn't for me.

The track that surprised me the most was trash day, as in the first place I was not a big fan of the original song, I thought it would be a bit dull, but as soon as weird al started singing, I really liked it.

Party at the leper colony was another song that surprised me, as in the first couple of verses, it was quite slow a bit boring, but then it livens up after that, so you know what to expect from it, so now I just find it relatively entertaining.

Even though this album was released in 2003, it still fits in today, quite nicely, as if it was only made yesterday. I definitely reccomedn this album, as it will have your whole family laughing. I bought it for £6.99 on amazon, and I dont think you would be able to get it in any high street sjop, so go out and buy today!
