Good Girl Gone Bad - Rihanna ... should start this review by mentioning that before Umbrella, I hated Rihanna. I thought her music was whiney and Unfaithful was pretty much enough to put me off for life! However once it had been at #1 for a few weeks Umbrella was really getting under my skin and there came a time I felt I needed to download Good Girl Gone Bad and check it out, to see if she could really have become.. *gasp* good?! The whole world knows Umbrella so there s not a lot to say, other than that it is doubtless the most infectious, original piece of R&B in years. Change - Sugababes ... released their first studio album with new member Amelle Berrabah in the gang after their Greatest Hits set. Lead single About You Now is not the most original thing in the world, but that doesn t make it any less brilliant and is already cemented it s place in pop history as a classic, second single Change is a beautiful ballad with real meaning, and Denial , the third and final single is an edgy pop track with a catchy chorus that could stay in your head for days. Come And Get It - Rachel Stevens ... s debut album Funky Dory was a real shoddy mess, and for the second album Come And Get It, a true pop masterpiece was created. Rachel was of course 1/7 of popular pop group S Club 7, until they disbanded in 2003. Rachel was hot on the trail of solo success and she achieved two big hits prior to the release of this album; Sweet Dreams My LA Ex and Some Girls .
