The inexplicable popularity of Hear'Say is a sad indictment of the modern music industry, with the emphasis very much on "industry" rather than "music". I genuinely find it impossible to understand the popularity of groups such as this. There are certain genres of music of which I could not call myself a great fan (Hip-Hop, for ... I remember this lot, well sort of! They had a somewhat short-lived career but the album serves as a pleasant reminder of just what they had to offer. Who are they: Put together through a reality TV show, the group comprised Myleene, Kim, Noel, Suzanne and Danny. Kim tended to do most of the lead vocals. They disbanded after ... No words, the other week i was sorting through my CD collection and i forgot that in 2002 i was a insane Hearsay buyer, i don't really even like them or their songs too much anyway so i don't why i bought them, i kind of bought the album because it was cheap and the rest to have a collection but it's nice, but nothing too good. Hear’say- where do I begin? The ultimate manufactured pop group with the ultimate manufactured personalities, faces and voices. Why am I writing this opinion- because I’m tired of doing ones on alternative music. Yes, I’ve gone through every Weezer record and nearly every Blink-182, Green Day and Ash one. I’ve also got the ... Read the complete review

After the recent show “Pop Idol” started on television, I was reminded of it’s predecessor “Popstars”, and the hype that surrounded the winners Hear’say. I have their album in my collection because I got it for free, but hand on heart I have never listened to it, and thought I would listen to it and then review ... Read the complete review

i think they are rubbish and that the album was a waste of money to anyone that bought it.My personal opinion of the band and the album is this: I think that the band is the biggest waste of money that has ever come to a rich persons mind and that the television sreies was a waste of time and that they could have put something better on like ... I recieved POPSTARS as a birthday present last month. I didn't mind getting it! I thought it would be quite good because I liked their first two singles! It turns out that these were the only good singles on the album... The more songs I listened to, the more and more I got Deja Vu! I've heard all the cheesy pop songs without any ... The answer being irrelevant, as no matter what the content of this compact disc was, the fact remains that they just perfectly depict the ridiculous direction so called 'popular music' is headed. I am mainly writing this opinion as it has got to me so much that people create records, and band images (ie. personel) solely on making money. ... Read the complete review

I'm sure that many others that have written a review about this CD(the ones giving it a good rating at least!) have speeled on about how much they enjoyed Popstars etc., etc., so I won't bore you with any of that. I will simply say that even though these five would not have been my choice, I am glad that they were "The Chosen ... Read the complete review

There have already be LOADS of reviews written about Hear'Say, so just to annoy you even more - here's another one! 'Pure and Simple' was Hear'Say's very 1st single. The making of the band, and the making of their first songs was seen on TV by all and sundry. I found it very interesting to watch, as well! ... Read the complete review

This is the pop-band here'say and i think that the group is a load of rubbish. They are too manufactured and just all so un-desierable. I Dont like the way they sng or the type of music they sing in its for too juvenile age groups. They sing for the 3 year old pop fans that have no brain to tell the difference between the Good and the Bad. So ... Read the complete review

Ok, so I never watched Popstars, but I was led to believe that this five could really sing..... One day the radio was on and a song was playing... "pure and simple yeah yeah, I'll be there for you..." I couln't believe my ears, it sounded dreadful, just a load of kids howling as far as I was concerned. BUT....it grew on ... Well you couldn't really escape the hype surrounding the popstars. They were splattered across every television, newspaper, magazine for months before they actually did anything!! It was obvious that due to their mass coverage their single was bound to enter at number one in the charts and similiarly their debut album was destined to ... Read the complete review

I have followed HearSay from day one and just think that they are brilliant! The day this album was released i went out and bought it, and was very glad i did! The album has a mixture of both dancy tunes and ballads! Normally i either hate a song as soon as i hear it, or absolutly love it. I can honestly say that every song on this album i ... How on earth can you manufacture a band on TV and call them a pop act? Their musical talents arent that great, I've heard better from my grand mother! The other problem I have with them is that they have only released one single and that single has been circulating the airways for about 2 months now, cant they come up with something else. ... Hear'Say, no doubt about it. With all the grief they've been getting, I'd put money on at least Kym smacking someone in the mouth very soon. The poor babies - I feel for them, I really do. This is the debut album from the most talked about band of the year so far-Hear'say. This is a number one selling album, containing a number one million selling single pure and simple. This is a brilliant album from the people behind ITV's popstars. This album possibly conatins alot of future number ones with the likes of The Way To Your Love. ... Read the complete review
