Power Games by Jaguar is a top NWOBHM album, whilst quite a few consider them a flop, I've grown quite fond of them. The album was originally released in 1983 on Neat Records, it was their debut album and followed a rather large tour the year before. It's their best work in my eyes and whilst the Bristol band's singer Paul Merrell was a bit on the stiff side, it added a more blues/rock feeling to the singing rather than that of screeching brakes, the sound of the album is quite interesting as they are clearly experimenting a little and rather involved of the change in style of metal music of the time.
