I am a fan of DJ Luck and MC Neat’s tracks especially ‘Piano Loco’ so I couldn’t wait to listen to this double album. However as soon as ‘Boom Selection’ by Genius Cru came on I was sick to death of MC Neat. Maybe I’m naïve but I didn’t expect him to yap over every song (no I haven’t heard the first album). Images of slitting MC Neat’s throat and shoving his head down the toilet passed through my head more than once. SHUT UP! SHUT UP! I HATE YOU MC NEAT! Ahem, sorry don’t know what came over me. He totally massacred Wookie’s excellent ‘Back up’ instrumental with his ... Read the complete review

This is a brilliant album which will brighten up your day and get you in the mood for clubbing anyday of the week. The album is full of excellent mixing by DJ Luck and some of the best MC'ing from the mouth of MC Neat. CD1 is full of great tracks mainly commercialised which vary from fast garage to some really bassey tunes, where as cd2 is a bit more underground. This album may not be as top class as the first one but all in all this is a top album that should be in every uk garage lovers album collection. This album kicks arse in every possible way imaginable, big it up to Luck and Neat. Keep more fo this coming lads! superb album for ... Read the complete review

What an album! This is a very well balanced album that will guarantee to get you singing and dancing. If you like garage or want to experience the sound of the 20th century then buy this album. DJ Luck mixes it very well and, the choice of tunes is very appropriate. He has introduced some new tracks whilst playing some old classics. There are several good mixes in the first cd, which make you want to get on your feet and jump around. His technique is progressive what I mean by this is that he dyes one track down then, whilst that’s fading out, he will introduce the next track progressively. Then whilst the beats get faster, he increases the volume etc, to ... Read the complete review

I found this to be a great double mix CD for anyone trying to get an introduction to Garage music. If you're like me and you can't afford the time or the money to browse and purchase endless stacks of vinyl 12" (i.e. if you're not a DJ) then this double CD, with 40 storming tracks is a good start and great for parties. It has a good selection of Garage from 'A Little Bit of Luck' to Truesteppers and even a bit of ragga influence for those who like nice sub-base. Very nice to listen to and up to date. MC Neat on the Mic doesn't overdo it and the mixing is as good as any. ... Read the complete review
