I was pushed to do this review after hearing a new song of theirs on radio 1. It brought back the happy thoughts that I experience whenever I listen to this album. @#!* was the first album of theirs I had come into contact with, having bought it on a whim after I saw a review in Kerrang magazine. Admittedly I was first captivated by the artwork, an anime (big eyes & head, small body) like kid holding a lit match while buildings around him burn. So thanks to Kerrang I know about one of the greatest melodic punk bands on this earth, and hopefully by writing this review someone else, like me, will buy this cd on a whim and enjoy it as much as I have. Less pop oriented, varied songs, interesting music and lyrics. good production. 
Some will find it a bit too emo. Only a few brilliant songs Enjoyable classic punk rock. Later songs are less impressive, and occasionally quite poor. Great listen from start to end. Maybe not as good as the albums to come from the band Flashes of genius, particularly the 'Dookie' tracks. 'Nice Guys Finish Last' sucks. Contains many popular Cure hits, some new stuff, and a limited edition acoustic versions CD with some recordings that supercede the original studio versions, in my opinion Commercially biased, nary a look in to the darker side of The Cure, there's a few dud songs in there, and the inlay booklet's a bit sparse Fine, consistently good pop music Not the strength of some modern vocalistsUp All Night - The Waifs
