Well this is a compilation cd, mixed by DJ EZ, and it consists of two cds. It only has Mc-ing on tracks that already have it on. Well, I consider myself to be a quite enthusiastic garage fan, and to tell you the truth when I brought this album I was quite disappointed. Why? Well for me there are three things that make a garage track: The tune, the vocals, and the Mc-ing. Don’t get me wrong this album has the tunes and vocals, but what it doesn’t have is the Mc-ing. And being a Mc I think it is the most important part of a garage track. Unlike most albums neither of the cds is better than the other. Which is good because when cd 1 (for example) is better ... Pure Garage 3 is an album that must be at max volume With DJ EZ on the decks you have high expectations for this particular CD. CD1 has its fair share of good songs though. The Architechs - Body Groove feature, as well as Brotherz in Law - U.N.D.E.R.G.R.O.U.N.D, (which has to be one of my favourites on the album), DJ Zinc - 138 Trek, K:Warren Feat. Lee-O - Coming Home, Ed Case and Filo - It's Love, M:Dubs Feat. Lady Saw - Bump'n'Grind, and DJ Pied Piper - Do you really like It (which is my favourite on the album). It features Oxide and Neutrino - Foot to the Floor (which is terrible - catchy tune, but nothing more than that). ... Read the complete review

Pure Garage 3 is an album that like every other garage album, (doesn't sound right unless it is up at full volume). The one most unlikely track that I hear everywhere from this album is the DJ EZ Intro number 5. It is everywhere, and it starts off the album. With DJ EZ on the decks you have high expectations for this particular CD. Yet, unfortunately, I found it had miles too much instrumental for what I was used to in an album. Its great in clubs or when you are getting ready to go out, but as far as it goes, is no good to chill out to. CD1 has its fair share of good songs though. The Architechs - Body Groove feature, as well as Brotherz ... Read the complete review

Some people will like this, it's a positive album with good intentions
...It just happens to be boring, derivative, and devoid of good things
