Clubland Classix 2

Rating:
This album consists of three cd s full of clubland classix trax inlcluding more recent songs and Artists such as cascada which is more recent and Lasgo who was more well known a few years ago for songs such as something and pray. I like this album quite a lot and listen to it often because there is such a variety of artists on it. Theres something to suit my mood on all three cds and the choice of songs are huge. I used to listen to a lot of these songs when I was abit younger going out with my friends a lot and now that I have more reponsibilities etc. I dont often get lots of chances to go out however this album allows me to invite friends over to my house for the ...

Rating:
Three discs here of songs that are billed as classics, or classix, which is obviously slightly cooler. The clubland series has been successful, there is now a spin-off music tv channel and the live tours always attract thousands. Disc one gets underway with Cascada, Natalie delivers a storming vocal and showcases that she is a rather fine singer, managing to convey the hurt and anguish in her voice. Scooter are given a makeover by one half of Styles and Breeze, but it keeps enough of the original to keep it sounding familiar. On the subject of Styles and Breeze, dip into the wonderful 'Discolights' by Ultrabeat and Styles where robotic vocodered vocals are the order ...

Let me set the scene; I was driving home one Friday night after work and I put Radio 1 one in my car. Often late at night Radio 1 plays a selection of dance tracks and I found the music perfect for driving. Admittedly it made me feel like a bit of a chav but the high energy, fast tempo and euphoric tunes were a great listen to on my journey home. A couple of days after I came across Big Tunes: Ignition. Noticing the car on the front and thought 'Screw it, let's have it'. I didn't have particularly high hopes of it being great driving music but I noticed a fair chunk of the songs and was at least expecting a solid dance compilation. The front of the album says 'The happiest fastest tunes to ...
